The Cross in Jesus Christ gives us the ability to have new life. Today in the gospel the blind man was able to see. Can you see the life God offers you through the cross? Will you take up your cross and follow him?

This is part of my homily about the woman at the well and how Jesus' interaction with her helps us to see how we are to relate with all people. Race, age, gender, or lifestyle does not change our need to bring people the saving message of Jesus Christ.

Mature faith in God recognizes that God enters into our suffering through his own sacrifice of his own son. This is the center of our faith.
